The Utica Music Alliance & Reosurce Center, Inc. announces a fundraiser of
proportions that will ruffle your feathers!! (In a good way!!) "Chip in for the Chicken" on May 8th 2004 at the Devereux...will have you clucking about town!!

UMARC is raising funds to purchase two promotional banners and a Chicken mascot costume for special events! This costumed character of the UMARC Chicken was a big hit at the Heart Run & Walk back in February on Heart Break Hill. Everyone wanted to hug, and photograph and even wheel away the Chicken, which was
graciously donated for use for the day from the local costume shop, Your Store, for the event.

The Chip in for the Chicken "eggstravaganza" will be held at the Devereux, 37 Devereux Street Downtown Utica (at the corner of Charlotte & Devereux Streets, across from the Oneida County Office Building). The event will begin at 8pm on Saturday May 8th with two stages of Music from acoustic to electric and everything inbetween throughout the night. There will be contests and prizes and even a Chicken Dance Competition!! A special guest appearance by the "UMARC Chicken" is scheduled as well.

Flock over to the Devereux for Chip in for the Chicken on Saturday May 8th.
